Because of the large number of interment records I have obtained from the City of Fremont for the Maple Grove Cemetery, it has been necessary to break the listing down alphabetically. Understanding the code used by the City of Fremont to identify burial locations
The City uses a combination of six sets of letters an numbers to identify the location of a burial. Starting at the left, the second set identifies the block or section, and the fourth set identifies the lot. For example, M-04-04D-339-02-1 means the burial is in Block 4, Lot 339. The other sets have meaning only to the city. I am working on a better drawing than the one shown above, and will post it as soon as I can complete it.
