Early Settlers and Pioneers

of the

Newaygo County Area

HOME

As part of my research into other parts of this project, I have come across a number of images of people, the early settlers and pioneers who made the area what it is today. Whether they were loggers, merchants, farmers, or businessmen, it must have been a hard life for them and their contributions and sacrifices have earned them our respect. Additionally, as a secondary goal of this project is to aid readers in their own personal search, it seemed to me that including these images could be useful.

If you have information about one of these images, or others you would like to submit for consideration in The October Project, please feel free to e-mail me at tomfury2000@yahoo.com.
